Idaho Dance Theatre, known for its daring, innovative and stunning performances, is very excited to launch its first ever pre- professional dance company, Focus Dance Ensemble.

This pre-professional dance company will give young dedicated dancers the opportunity to take the next step in their dance career. It will allow dancers to experience the training and rehearsal of a professional company with 2 season performances and the opportunity to work with Idaho Dance Theatre professional dancers and Artistic Directors. Our main focus is to give these talented young dancers the opportunity and experience of performance in a professional concert setting.

Focus Dance Ensemble performances will be held at the Danny Peterson Theatre inside the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts. Each concert will feature works from numerous choreographers, including IDT professional dancers and guest choreographers. Focus Dance Ensemble will offer two evening performances and a matinee.
